Pin-Ups By Paris Events

I was born and raised in small town Nevada. Around age 8 I had realized I loved "playing" with hair. Growing up I was taught to be more athletic then girlie, however I wanted to do anything but sports. I was a cheerleader and enjoyed doing all the girls hair for games and meets. Mind you I was only 9 or 10.  When I was entering in high school, word had already spread that I was good at not only styling hair but up-dos as well. By age 14 I already had about 6 Proms/Dances/Formals under my belt. So naturally I wanted to learn more. I was lucky enough at age 17 to start working at a salon in the front area, after hours I was mentored by the stylist. I was being taught everything from proper products to use, Curling techniques, and yes even cutting form.

By age 18 I had booked my 1^st wedding.  I was hooked. I just fell in love with the brides stories of romance and how happy she was on the day of and the absolute controlled havoc – the adrenaline and the fact that I was able to give the bride a special gift of beauty on her wedding day. It was more then I had hoped & all I did was style her hair. A few years in I decided to make a business out of it. And now here I am with “Pin-ups by Paris”

 I come from a very supportive family who recognizes my talent and uses it frequently (especially my sisters) ha ha. But in all seriousness Hair is what I love. Hair is what I do out my heart to provide a special style just for you and just for your special day. You’ll find I come back with stories and adventures and just all around smiles when I am done simply because you let me into your special day. 

My Goal is to provide enough portfolios for you on here because I believe my work speaks for its self. The Early Stuff – is all in photo albums, though scanning is in process. The Rest is roughly about 800 photos of just hair. I love taking photos of hair. Odd maybe but personally I think it’s a great trait since it’s what I do.
